Wildflowers to be planted in Spalding

Wildflowers will be planted along the River Welland during a special event over the weekend.

East Mercia Rivers Trust is holding a wildflower planting day along the river bank in Spalding tomorrow (Saturday).

The event is part of the Spalding Reconnected Project, which was awarded just under £250,000 from National Heritage Lottery Fund in order celebrate and promote the town and its riverside.
