Wildflowers to be planted in Spalding
Wildflowers will be planted along the River Welland during a special event over the weekend.
East Mercia Rivers Trust is holding a wildflower planting day along the river bank in Spalding tomorrow (Saturday).
The event is part of the Spalding Reconnected Project, which was awarded just under £250,000 from National Heritage Lottery Fund in order celebrate and promote the town and its riverside.
Those taking part should meet at 10am tomorrow at the Water Taxi Boarding Point in Double Street.
If you are interested in getting involved please email Patricia Antunes at patricia@eastmercia.org.
