Nine candidates in running to be elected Spalding Flower Queen and Deputy by judging panel
Nine candidates are now in the running to be elected as Flower Queen and Deputy by a panel of judges.
Spalding Flower Parade is just weeks away and election night is taking place on Saturday, April 26 at The Springfields Events and Conference Centre.
The official crowning ceremony will be a glitzy affair with live music from Jeff Woods aka Pavanotti and Mullered at The Mill, who will play a mix of classic and modern rock tunes.
A panel of independent judges will decide the final two — who will take their place on the Queen’s float during the parade on Saturday, May 10.
The lucky duo will represent Spalding at a number of events throughout the year — and take over from Queen Becs Roberts and deputy Demi Fontaine Gilchrist.
Guests are encouraged to dress to impress and add a touch of glamour to the occasion.
Entrants are: Lucinda Wise, Erika Yao, Maddie Keyzers, Megan Vellam, Demi Fontaine Gilchrist, Philippa Ketteringham, Laura Hudson, Briony Mann and Demi Faulkner.
Tickets are available for £15 each, plus a small booking fee, and can be purchased through this link: Eventbrite - Flower Parade Queen and Deputy Election Night.
