Kirton, Gosberton and Quadring homes left without water due to issue with Anglian Water pump




Homes across the area have been left without water this evening due to an issue with a pump.

Anglian Water says a power outage has tripped its pumps in Sutterton which has resulted in hundreds of homes in the area being left without a supply.

The firm says that is has ‘asked National Grid to come out and assist as a priority’ - but cannot give a time on when the water supply will be restored.

Homes around Boston, Wyberton, Kirton, Donington, Surfleet, Quadring and Gosberton have reported losing water. The firm could not tell us how many properties have been affected but

Anglian Water’s website had crashed earlier but it is now working.

However messages will be going out shortly to affected residents, the firm has told us.
