TV star Reginald D. Hunter and Ricky Gervais’ warm-up act to appear at latest South Holland Centre comedy gig in Spalding




A TV star and household name will headline an upcoming comedy gig in the area.

Reginald D. Hunter - who has regularly appeared on shows including Have I Got News For You, QI and 8 Out of 10 Cats - will take to the stage at Spalding’s South Holland Centre on Friday, September 6 as the Best In Comedy tour returns.

American-born Hunter, who has appeared on Live At The Apollo, is known for his slick delivery and witty observations.

Also appearing will be Stephen Bailey, Matt Bragg and Philip Simon.

Comedian, presenter, actor and writer Bailey is a proud northern, working class, gay man.

His credits include co-hosting BBC One’s Date or Drop alongside Amanda Holden, Would I Lie to You, Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Roast Battle, Celebrity Mastermind and The Apprentice: You’re Fired.

Matt Bragg has a unique, low energy, deadpan style, with meticulously crafted material and has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences, promoters and comedians alike.

As well as performing at some of the largest clubs in the UK, he is tour support for Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill, Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford and John Bishop.

Simon is one of the most sought acts working on the UK comedy circuit today.

He gigs throughout the UK, as well having performed as far flung places as America, Scandinavia, Europe, The Middle East and New Zealand where he headlined at The Classic in Auckland

The show is for adults only and tickets cost £20, available from www.southhollandcentre.co.uk.

The show will begin at 8pm.
