Hundreds of homes without electricity in Gosberton Clough and Risegate areas as National Grid aims to fix fault
More than 400 homes are without electricity this evening as a result of a power cut.
National Grid says engineers are working to restore power to 443 homes in the Gosberton Clough and Risegate areas.
The network provider described the issue as a ‘fault on the overhead network’ and expected to be able to restore power by 10.30pm.
A National Grid statement said: “We are aware of this power cut outage which was raised at 8.36pm this evening and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.”
There were initially more than 500 properties affected, but 59 have already seen their power restored.
