Hourly Spalding to Peterborough bus service is now operating

An hourly bus service is now running between Spalding and Peterborough.

The Stagecoach 37 bus service is live and operating between 6am and 8pm Monday to Saturday following a £8.5million boost to the county’s bus routes.

The improvement of this will be welcomed by residents - who had spoke out after it was reduced to a two hourly service. The Sunday service is continuing on the previous two-hour schedule.

David Boden, Business Development Director of Stagecoach East, said: “We are very excited about the prospects for the 37 Service and, thanks to the hard work from everyone involved, I am confident that it will prove to be a valuable transport link for passengers, which will be well used to bring local communities together.

“We have been really pleased to work so closely with the team at Lincolnshire County Council, as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan, and the doubling of this route’s frequency will mean a lot more availability for those wishing to get from Spalding to Peterborough and vice versa.”
