Spalding Academy pupils arrive to prom in style

A jetski was among the vehicles which brought youngsters to their prom.

Spalding Academy students were seen to arrive in different forms of ‘horse power’ including a truck, vintage cars and tractors to the event at Springfields Events and Conference centre.

A school spokesman said: “As is customary at the prom, the students put a lot of effort and thought into what to wear and they arrived in a variety of vehicles including luxury and vintage cars, tractors, trucks, jet skis and even by horse.

“Family and friends were able to see students grace the red carpet before celebrating with fellow students and staff.

“Students were able to dance the night away at the venue, which was hired out exclusively by Spalding Academy so they could celebrate together in a safe and relaxed environment.

“At the prom, they also enjoyed a generous buffet, awards ceremony and photo booth as well as a disco.”
