Large house fire in Holbeach St Johns

A home was badly damaged by fire after a blaze yesterday (Friday) evening.

Firefighters from Holbeach, Long Sutton, Spalding and Crowland were called to the fire on St John's Road, Holbeach St John's at 6.44pm.

There was severe fire damage to 100% of the property and its contents.

It was extinguished using three hose reel jets.

A crew from Market Deeping is currently in attendance as a relief crew and is using a hose reel to dampen down hot spots.
