Lincolnshire County Council election results: Spalding Elloe
Elizabeth Sneath has kept hold of the Spalding Elloe seat.
Coun Sneath was among four people who were vying for the Lincolnshire County Council seat, which includes Pinchbeck as well as parts of Spalding.
She has retained the seat with a comfortable majority after seeing off challenges from Douglas Dickens, Rebecca Longbottom and Heather Violett.
She said: "I am relieved and very excited.
"I'm looking forward to the next four years as this is my third term, I pretty much know what I'm doing and I can now focus on things which are important to residents and myself.
"I'm Heritage Champion at the county council and the district council so I'm hoping to do a lot more work with heritage.
"Since lockdown we've all appreciated where we live so much more - we are all looking at our surroundings and we want to make the most of them. I think that's really important and heritage is a vital part of the offering that we've got in the county for residents and visitors.
"Let's hope that we can get some more visitors coming in to bring money into the area but let's hope that residents can appreciate what we've got.
"Everywhere is looking so lovely, particularly after the Wombles and all of their hard work - it's just great.
"I have been out several times with the Wombles and it's amazing what you find.
"I'm keen to Womble and I think they are doing an amazing job."
