Spalding Lions enjoy 54th charter diner

Members of a club marked a milestone anniversary during a stylish dinner.

Spalding Lions Club celebrated its 54th Charter anniversary with dinner and dancing at the Woodlands Hotel in Spalding on Saturday.

Lion President Stuart East and his wife Nita were joined by other members of the group along with, family and friends.

Regional chairman Derek Blow, Ian Constable, Erica Constable, Nita East and President Stuart East.

The event was also attended by 1st Vice District Governor Elect Lion Ian Constable, Region Chairman Lion Derek Blow with other lions clubs in the district and members of Spalding Rotary Club.

During the evening, Frances Paget was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for services to the Lions. It was presented by president Stuart.
