Devastating news about gentle George

In the weekly 'Man's Best Friend' column, staff at Jerry Green Dog Rescue deliver some devastating news.

It is with utter devastation that we share with you George’s most recent update.

Over the past few weeks George’s health has been deteriorating. It would be unfair to continue his rehoming journey and separate him from a team that he has grown to love so much.

The team will continue to love George unconditionally and walk by his side to the rainbow bridge.

George will continue to receive the best medical care and comfort until we reach the point where it is time to let this loveable old soul rest his paws.

Although this news is so upsetting, we hope that you join us in the comfort that over the past eight months George has been surrounded with love, care, warmth and safety, and most importantly, has known what it is like to be cherished and adored. We ask you to please think of George and the South Lincolnshire team at this difficult time.
