Lincolnshire Summer Makers Market returned for a second year showcasing even more talent at Springfields Events Centre

Crafts people, chocolatiers, artists and more displayed their handcrafted goods at a popular summer market, which returned for its second year.

More than 100 stallholders attended The Lincolnshire Makers Summer Makers Market on Saturday (June 28), to showcase their talents at another successful event in Springfields Events Centre, Spalding.

Visitors were able to browse a variety of independent vendors who were selling handmade crafts such as ceramics, crochet, photography, leather, handmade cider, jams, jewellery and more.

Organiser and Lincolnshire based entrepreneur Jodie Mason, of Lincolnshire Honey, said: “The event supports local artisan makers and Lincolnshire food and drink producers.

“Both exhibitors and visitors alike commented on the lovely variety of stalls to shop with and liked the new talent being highlighted too.”

New stallholders included BeeDubble Woo Crafts, which is a new glass etching business, papercutter J Pearce Art, autistic led clothing company, Aut Couture, and stunning floral designs by Beloved Indra.

The Lincolnshire Makers organisers are set to return soon as Jodie Mason and Hannah Joe, of Jackalope Joe Coffee, have joined forces to host the new Feed Your Face-tival event on Saturday, July 19.

At that event, visitors can take on ‘fiery’ food challenges, enjoy a range of street food, axe throwing, workshops, family entertainment, bubbleologists and more at Springfields Events Centre between 11am and 6pm.

If you would like to enter, make sure to email feedyourfacetival@gmail.com, with the challenge name in the subject line – e.g. ‘chilli eating competition’, along with their name and age. Full entry details will then be provided.
