Man accused of raping a minor in Spalding is remanded in custody
A man who is accused of raping a minor has been remanded in custody.
Magdi Ali Mohamed Ali Abon-Asr, 28, of no fixed address, is facing charges of raping a boy aged between 13 and 15 in Spalding along with sexual assault on a male.
The case appeared before Lincoln Magistrates Court earlier today (Monday, June 16) when the case was sent to crown court.
A trial date has been set for December 15.
The next hearing is due to be scheduled for July 14 at the crown court.
The charges he is facing are:
- intentionally touching a male in Spalding on June 14
- Oral rape of a boy aged between 13 and 15 in Spalding on June 14.
