Spalding man accused of urinating in back of police van to stand trial




A man accused of a string of offences including urinating in a police van will stand trial next month.

Ayoub El Morabiti, of Wooldram Wygate, Spalding, has been charged with stealing two mobile phones and using threatening behaviour towards members of the public and causing alarm, harassment and distress.

He is also accused of criminal damage by urinating in the back of a police van on the evening of Saturday, January 24.

The 34-year-old appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday when he was remanded in custody.

He is due to stand trial on March 13.
