Man arrested for death by dangerous driving after A16 crash between Sutterton and Kirton in which one woman died and five people were injured
A 45-year-old man has been arrested for causing death by dangerous driving after a crash on the A16.
The collision occurred between Sutterton and Kirton and left one woman dead and five more people injured.
An investigation began after the incident – which happened shortly before 7am on Monday March 4 – and officers have today confirmed that an arrest has now been made.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with the collision at the A16 on 4 March where one person died.
“He was arrested on suspicion of one count of causing death by dangerous driving, and four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
“He has been released on police bail while investigations are continuing.”

The vehicles involved were a blue Volkswagen Scirocco (travelling towards Boston) and a blue Vauxhall Zafira (travelling towards Spalding).
