Man in 70s from Spalding area dies after A52 crash involving DAF truck, Vauxhall Astra and Land Rover Discovery
A man in his 70s from the Spalding area has died after a crash on the A52.
Police say the man was a passenger in a Vauxhall Astra that was involved in an incident on Thursday, May 1 — and he died as a result of his injuries on Friday (May 9).
The crash happened near Wrangle Primary School at about 12.55pm on the day in question.
It involved a white DAF truck, red Vauxhall Astra and grey Land Rover Discovery.
Two people - the driver and passenger in the Astra - were taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said: “Sadly, the passenger, a man in his 70s from the Spalding area, died on Friday (May 9).
“We are now appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles in the moments beforehand to contact us.”
