Spalding-linked man named in top ten of Lincolnshire Police's 'Most Wanted'

A man with links to Spalding who failed to appear in court in relation to drugs possession charges has been named on a new list of Lincolnshire Police's "Most Wanted" men.

Stephen Pickering (45), also known as Stephen Drury, should have stood before magistrates on July 29 in connection with offences relating to possession of drugs and driving matters.

But despite three appeals by police for information as to his whereabouts, Pickering is still at large.

He is one of ten men named on a monthly list to be published by the county's force from today (Friday, December 19), with crimes they are connected with including sexual offences, theft, burglary and a serious assault.

Det Chief Supt Andy Cox, the force's head of crime, said: "Lincolnshire Police will do all it can to locate and bring to justice our most wanted people.

"We do so to protect the public as every single day these people remain at large is a day in which they may commit more crime and, in doing so, create more victims.

"We are using this new 'Top Ten' approach in the hope that it reaches a wide audience and that members of the public who have information which may assist our efforts decide to share this information with us.

"We would encourage anybody who features on our most wanted list to immediately hand themselves in as we will continue to focus and target resource every single day and night to locate these people, take action and deliver justice for victims."

Anyone with information about Pickering, or any of the other men named in the "Most Wanted" list, should call 101 or email force.control@lincs.pnn.police.uk
