Monster effort! Holbeach Fire Station Halloween Party raises record amount of charity cash




An annual Halloween Party proved a monster effort.. with its best-ever fundraising total.

Ghosts, ghouls, skeletons and witches were among the crazy cast of characters enjoying the annual family knees-up at Holbeach Fire Station on Friday night.

Around 500 revellers partied at the at the Station Street venue, helping raise a fantastic £659 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

“It was the best year we’ve had fundraising-wise,” said watch manager John Kinder.

“We had a really good do and it was well supported by everybody.

“We’re really grateful to everyone who came along and the kids really enjoyed it.”

The event was a combined effort between Holbeach and Long Sutton Fire Station, with the latter helping out and responding to call outs from the station.

Support came from Refreshment Station who provided the ice cream and candy floss machines, and Sound4Sound who provided the PA system.
