Motorcyclist seriously injured in A17 Gedney collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious accident on the A17 at Gedney on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the collision just after 4.20pm. It involved two vehicles, an orange Honda motorcycle and a gold Citroen C4 car.
Both vehicles were travelling from the Long Sutton area towards Holbeach.
The collision happened adjacent to a local garage. The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
A stretch of the road was closed for several hours.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash or the collision itself to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to the accident, or of the collision itself.
