Crowland's South View Community Primary School welcomed MP Sir John Hayes

Sir John Hayes answered a series of probing questions ranging from his thoughts on Brexit to the kind of music he listens to when he visited Crowland's South View Community Primary School.

The South Holland and the Deepings MP spoke at an assembly for Key Stage 2 pupils and toured the building with Year 6 school councillors and head teacher Joanne Tomlins before Years 5 and 6 pupils asked questions.

Following the visit, 10-year-old Jamie said: "I think it was a brilliant experience for our school.

"It was very interesting and I am glad he came."

Lexie (10) said: "I thought Sir John was very inspiring."

And Scott, also aged 10, said: "I really enjoyed Sir John Hayes coming into our school. It was really interesting to hear why he wanted to be an MP."
