Unique Cottage Studios in Low Fulney set to host open day
Discover an array of handmade treasures and more at this popular event – described by organisers as an ‘oasis of creativity’ you won’t want to miss.
Unique Cottage Studios in Low Fulney, Spalding will be hosting a free spring open day from today (Friday) until Saturday.
Wander through the studios and get the chance to meet some of the talented artists on site between 10am and 3pm.
One of the artists and organisers, Jacs Harris is looking forward to welcoming visitors at the weekend. She said: “It should be a really fun and lovely day for people to come and check out what we do. Every time we host one of the events it’s super popular, so we are expecting the site to be really busy.
“We get regular visitors who visit us and others who visit us don’t even know we are here – they get a nice surprise when they discover our oasis of creativity is on the outskirts of Spalding.
“People always get a lovely surprise if they haven’t been here before. We love welcoming people to the site and everyone here is super talented and are amazing crafts people – it will be really nice for people to come and see what we do.”
There will be an array of mediums for sale at the open day such as pottery and ceramics, mosaics, jewellery, printmaking, textiles, stained glass and eco-printing, photography, weaving and more.
Visitors will also get a behind the scenes experience and opportunity to chat to the artists and find out more about what they do.
Make sure to bring your four-legged friends along for the fun, as a photographer will be on site offering mini sessions for guests.
The site has a cafe which now selling its summer menu and has free parking and disabled access.
