The brains behind Lincolnshire Makers Market and Jackalope Joe Coffee join forces to create new food festival in Spalding
A ‘deep love’ of food has fuelled passionate organisers to launch a new festival showcasing some of the county’s tastiest treats.
Two Lincolnshire-based entrepreneurs Jodie Mason and Hannah Joe are looking forward to launching their exciting event in the summer and hope it will highlight some of the best produce in the area.
Jodie and Hannah, who are the brains behind Lincolnshire Makers Market and Lincolnshire Honey and Jackalope Joe Coffee, have joined forces to create ‘Feed Your Face-tival’ – which is set to take place at Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding, on Saturday, July 19, between 11am and 6pm.
The duo believe Spalding is the perfect location for it and hope it will highlight the ‘finest eats around’, showcase
Hannah said: “I’ve always had a deep love for great food and drink, and I wanted to bring an event to Spalding that truly celebrates our fantastic local food scene.
“Feed Your Face-tival is about bringing people together to discover and support the incredible makers and producers right on our doorstep”.
Jodie added: “Spalding is at the very heart of the UK’s agri-food sector, making it the perfect location to host a festival celebrating the best in food and drink.”
Food lovers will be able to get their teeth stuck into a range of activities throughout the day such as an artisan food market – featuring local and small-batch producers and a number of street food caterers who will be serving a variety of mouth watering dishes inspired by worldwide cuisines.
There will also be an onsite bar, musicians, eating challenges and a variety of family friendly activities for all ages to enjoy.
If you are a local maker, food producer, or street food business, the festival welcomes applications for exhibitors selling both fresh and packaged foods, kitchenware, ceramics and more.
Additionally, larger food manufacturers will have the opportunity to showcase their products to the local community in our industry area. For sponsorship opportunities contact Hannah and Jodie at feedyourfacetival@gmail.com.
