University Academy Long Sutton pupils enjoy sneak peek around new library
Students were given a sneak peak around a school’s new library.
University Academy Long Sutton has transformed a former gym into an extensive new library complete with teaching space.
Members of the Junior Leadership Team received a preview of the new library on Thursday last week.
The rest of the school will have to wait until term resumes in January to have a look around the library and its wide range of resources.
A spokesman said this new facility will make a big difference to pupils at the Little London school.
She said: “The new library is rich in space, books and comfortable seating for our pupils to enjoy.
“It was carefully designed and put together by our Site Team who have spent many hours creating this space for the Academy community to enjoy."
She went onto say that members of the Junior Leadership Team were impressed with the new library during their preview visit.
The spokesman said: “The Junior Leadership members were amazed at what a difference it now is and they all mentioned how excited they were to be being able to access it in January.
“We look forward to all pupils and staff to be able to use this space in January.”
