New store coming to Kirton

A village is soon to get its third store.

Convenience store Premier has erected a banner letting residents in Kirton know there will be a ‘new store coming soon’.

The former Merry Monk pub and restaurant on Willington Road will be the site.

The village already has a Co-op and Costcutter, as well as independent shops.

Premier - which is owned by Tesco - have been contacted for comment.
