Follow Lincolnshire Vanlife and Lincs Lowlife Car Club’s Christmas convoy to Pilgrim Hospital Boston on Facebook and Tik Tok Live
Organisers of a popular Christmas convoy are appealing for presents to give to young patients.
Last year some 224 cars, vans, lorries, bikes and tractors took part in the event, which was organised by Lincolnshire Vanlife and Lincs Lowlife Car Club, to take presents from Sutton Bridge to children in Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
Donations of unwrapped toys and gifts are needed, as well as participants to join the convoy - which will stop off at Boston United Football Club - and followers can track the route live on Tik Tok and Facebook.
One of the people behind the event is Shaun Finnemore. He said: “We are hoping to be bigger this year.
“We do it for the kids and it brings people together.
“We are asking for donations which can be dropped off.”
This is the fourth event and the convoy will travel through Sutton Bridge, Long Sutton, Holbeach, Kirton, Wyberton and Boston.
Mr Finnemore added: “Shaun Lombardo of G and CA Lombardo Ltd will be there again.
“We may have another special guest too.”
Gifts such as selection boxes can be dropped off at Hairlistics in Sutton Bridge, Starky’s Transport and Wyberton Sports and Social Club in Boston.
For further information about arranging donations and driving in the convoy contact Shaun at Lincolnshire Van Life and Diane at Lincs Low Life on Facebook.
