Variety concert was a success
The Grantham Lions Club variety concert was a success this year at the Priory Ruskin Academy.
Held on Sunday, October 12, more than 200 guests were entertained by Sam Bickmore, Grantham School of Dance, The Four Tunes, Double Treble, Kerry Carey, Paula Burrows and Trevor Leeson.
MC for the afternoon was Paul Martin.
I would like to thank people for giving their time for the show — Sean and Naomi for sound and lighting, Imogen and Brian for helping behind the scenes, the Guildhall Box Office, staff at the Priory Ruskin Academy, Trevor Lyons and friends, as well as the guests who had a very enjoyable afternoon.

Parking spaces will be lost
One cannot be critical of the artist's impression of the “exciting glimpse” of how Spalding could look in the October 7 edition of the Lincolnshire Free Press. My question is how many street parking spaces will be lost if ‘the new ideas to boost Spalding are implemented’? I did not see that reported.May I suggest that reduced parking will decrease footfall in the town.

Moulton
