Pigeon poo plaguing passengers at Spalding Railway Station
Pesky pigeons are making life tricky for passengers at Spalding Railway Station.
A band of the birds are roosting in the station building - and are leaving their mess all over the stairways between the two platforms and by the ticket machine.
Wednesday's meeting of the Spalding Town Centre Steering Group heard that the matter is a regular problem and makes the stairs trickier to navigate.
Coun Liz Sneath, who is working to improve the station, saw the problem first hand that morning when visiting the facility.
She told the meeting: "It is cleaned weekly but it was terrible this morning."
It's thought that netting is being considered to block the birds from leaving their mess.
