Police car involved in crash at Pinchbeck junction

A police car was involved in a crash with another vehicle at a busy junction this afternoon.

The collision occurred at the traffic light where Wardentree Lane and Spalding Road meet in Pinchbeck – and was reported at 2.48pm.

An eyewitness reported that the police car had overtaken other vehicles with its ‘blues and twos’ on in the lead up the crash.

A force spokesman said this was a ‘damage only’ collision, with no injuries reported.

They were unable to say if the police car was on an emergency call.
