South Holland police issue warning after prescription drugs were stolen in Holbeach park
Police have issued a health warning after prescription medication had been snatched in a town park.
The drugs had been taken from a woman’s bag while she was in Carter’s Park, Holbeach, yesterday (Monday, October 28) at around 4pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information - along with putting out a warning over the dangers of using this medication.
A South Holland Police Facebook page states: “On the afternoon of October 28, at approximately 4pm, a woman has had prescription medication taken from a bag in Carter’s Park, Park Road, Holbeach. This prescription medication is prescribed to that individual only and could be extremely dangerous if taken by anyone else.
“We are appealing for any information in relation to this incident. If you happened to be in the vicinity at that time, have doorbell or dashcam footage, then please contact us quoting incident 93 of 29 October.”
