Police launch investigation after man’s body found on the outskirts of Spalding
Police had sealed off a road earlier today after a man’s body was found in a dyke.
Przemyslaw Gebka, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident in Fulney Lane South, on the outskirts of Spalding, earlier today (Saturday, November 2) after a member of the public called the emergency services. He was found at 9am.
Police are now investigating the circumstances around the incident and are appealing for information.
He was last seen in the Spalding area on October 28.
A force statement said: “Emergency Services have this morning attended an incident in Spalding where a man was found in a stretch of water.
“The incident was called in by a member of the public just after 9am after they discovered the man in the water course at Fulney Lane South.
“Police and Ambulance attended but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“He has now been identified as Przemyslaw Gebka, aged 42, and his next of kin have been made aware.
“Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. Mr Gebka was last seen on October 28 in the Spalding area, and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him in the last few weeks.”
