The Best In Comedy show presents Jen Brister, Angela Barnes, Rich Wilson and Will Duggan at South Holland Centre Spalding

Four top comedians with a wealth of experience will be on the line-up at a town’s theatre.

The Best In Comedy show returns to the South Holland Centre in Spalding in the new year (Friday, January 17) featuring Jen Brister, Angela Barnes, Rich Wilson and Will Duggan.

Mock the Week regular Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian who has been seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Hypothetical and Sara Pascoe’s Comedy Lectures.

She is a regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits and has written and performed on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show and presented for BBC 6 Music.

After a career in health and social care, ​Angela Barnes took the plunge and embarked on her life-long dream to be a comedian.

Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and has now gone on to star in BBC Two’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and Hypothetical on Dave.

Rich Wilson's performances have earned him a win for Best International Guest at the New Zealand Comedy Awards, followed by a sell-out run in which saw him nominated for the same award again.

Will Duggan has been performing comedy since 2009 and mixes stories and gags with a cheerfully cynical view of the world.

He has cemented himself as a dynamic and interesting performer in comedy clubs around the country.

The show lasts two hours including an interval, the line-up is subject to change and is for strictly over 18s only.
