Thumbs up for new look of Donington Fish and Chips

The new look of a fish and chip shop has been unveiled.

Entrepreneurial cook Kieran Bulpit officially opened Donington Fish and Chips on Saturday after refurbishing the site.

The 22-year-old has added a new colour scheme along with giving the seating area a refresh since receiving the keys for the shop, which had previously traded as the Yorkshire Frier and Flinders, last month.

Kieran, who was nominated for the 2025 Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year in the National Fish Chip Awards, has been pleased with the response to the store - and the beef dripping which is now being used to cook the chips.

He said: “It has been really positive and everyone has said it looks more modern.”
