Spalding Lions hosted popular race night




A popular race night was supported by more than a hundred people.

Spalding Lions have raised money for local good causes during the annual race night.

Around 120 people tucked into fish and chips at the event, which was held at the South Holland Centre in Spalding, with Lion President Stuart East as compere.

Lion Julie Grant said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported us, Tom Mehew and team (Premier Race Night), race and horse sponsors, brochure advertisers, raffle prize donations and Andrew and Philip of Sheddy’s Fish and Chips in Spalding for providing the supper.

“We had an enjoyable and successful evening of fun.”
