Seven crews fought Weston Hills fire
Latest 10am: Firefighter say they have now been able to 'scale down' their presence in Weston Hills as crews get a house blaze under control.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say they were called at 7.34am to an incident at a 'commercial garage and two storey domestic property on Broad Gate in Weston Hills.
Two crews from Spalding had to be joined by colleagues from Holbeach, Kirton, Crowland, Donington and Market Deeping to bring the fire under control.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "The fire is in the ground floor of the garage and crews are using two main jets, two hose reels and breathing apparatus to tackle this. The incident has now been scaled down and three crews remain in attendance."
Friday, 9am: Seven fire crews are battling a blaze at a property in Weston Hills.
The fire has broke out in the last hour or so at what has been described as a 'commercial property' on Broad Gate, near the junction of Moulton Chapel Road.
A neighbour told the Lincolnshire Free Press: "The fire brigade are there now it looks like half the house has disappeared."
Pictures have revealed smoke billowing from the property as firefighters attempt to get the incident under control.
