Members of the Moulton Celebration Committee celebrate another successful event but ‘need a recharge’

Organisers of an annual event say they plan to have a break and recharge their batteries after another great year.

Moulton Harvest and tractor working weekend received lots of support over the weekend as it offered fun for the whole family.

The free event, which is organised by the Moulton Celebration Committee, took place in Austendyke Road, opposite Myers Farm and in the Community Centre and Village Hall – which hosted a range of craft stalls.

One of the organisers, Steven Adcock, said: “It went brilliantly, we received great support from everyone involved and who attended.

“The highlight for me was seeing smiles on everyone’s faces and at the end of the weekend, the field from the working weekend was ploughed so they must of had a great time.

“We are having a break at the moment to recharge our batteries, but there has been talk of plans for next year.

“Having all of the support from people in the village and businesses really makes it and we want to thank everyone for attending.”

Visitors could enjoy tractor trailer rides, a vehicle display, harvest raffle, games, charity and promotional stalls and live music by Phil Wiggins.
