Seven injured after A16 crash
Seven people suffered injuries after a two-car crash on the A16 this morning.
The incident is said to have occurred between Surfleet and Sutterton and caused the road to close.
The road is, however, now said to have re-opened to traffic.
In a statement before the road opened, police said: "Seven people are thought to have been injured, some seriously.
"Investigative work and clearance is still ongoing."
Bank Holiday Monday motorists were diverted while emergency services attended the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the two-vehicle collision are not yet known.
