Sutton Bridge Warblers and Friends support Wear It Pink Day during Breast Cancer Awareness Month ahead of November fundraiser concert
A singing group is kicking off its charity fundraising with a show tonight and a concert next month.
Sutton Bridge Warblers and Friends are supporting Wear Something Pink day as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a singalong at Sutton Bridge Constitution Club tonight (Friday, October 24).
It is a free event with charity donations welcomed and music will be provided by the Warblers, singer and keyboard player Johnny Crystal and a singalong with Colin Robinson.
The group is also hoping for a sell out show on Friday, November 14 at the Curlew Centre in Sutton Bridge in aid of breast cancer charity the Pink Ribbon Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK.
The evening of music will feature guitarist Tony Nuccoll, musician Karen Claire and Jez and Kay the Rockomatics.
Peter Lawrence, group member, said: “We have four acts going on stage who are all local amateur singers.
“We have had a huge amount of donated prizes for our raffles.
“We have some brilliant local companies sponsoring the event meaning that 100 per cent of all money raised will be going to our two named charities.”

The Warblers group get together on a Monday evening from 7-30pm to 9-30pm at the Curlew Centre in Sutton Bridge and new members are welcome.
