Anglian Water to close stretch of Pinchbeck road for repairs

A stretch of busy road will be shut for repairs later this month.

Anglian Water is closing a section of Northgate in Pinchbeck from Monday, January 13, in order to repair a sinking patch of road.

The closure will cover a 40m stretch of road around Herring Bridge and the Ship Inn pub.

A spokesman said: “There will be fully signposted diversions in place on either side of the closure, and access to roads and properties outside the closure will not be affected.

“Essentially, the hard closure is only in place around the Herring Bridge and Ship Inn pub.”

In November, a similar section of Northgate was closed while Cadent replaced a gas main.

The latest closure is due to finish on Wednesday, January 15.
