Ashwood Homes team up with social media influencer Louise Pentland to promote new development site in Pinchbeck
A popular social media influencer described the Spalding area as ‘homely and friendly’ when visiting to work with a property developer.
Louise Pentland, who is most well known for starting her career on YouTube as ‘Sprinkle of Glitter’, was invited to take a look at Ashwood Homes latest project in Pinchbeck at the start of the month.
The vlogger — who has 3.6 million followers on Instagram and 2.17 million subscribers on YouTube — attended an open day at Yews Farm on May 3 and filmed some content for the property business whilst she was there.
Chloe King, who is the sales manager at Ashwood Homes, showed Louise around one of their new show homes on the day. She said: “We have lots of buyers who are not from the area and others who are more local.
“Louise is the perfect demographic for us and our clients and working with her helped get our name out nationally.
“When she got to Spalding she said it felt very homely and quite friendly – she was very complimentary which was lovely.”
At the beginning of her career Louise, who lives in Northampton, built friendships with other well-known figures in the industry such Zoe Sugg, also known as Zoella, Alfie Deyes, Jim Chapman, Tanya Burr and Marcus Butler.
The group was nicknamed the ‘Brit Crew’ by fans.
Louise is now a best selling author, columnist for Hello Magazine and creates relatable lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram.
Although the content creator has no connection to the area, photographer Georgi Mabee of Bourne, took the pictures at her wedding earlier in February this year.
Chloe added: “One lady who recognised her said ‘I can’t believe you’re Louise Pentland and you’re in Spalding’.
“She was really lovely and also visited Stamford afterwards – it was nice to see she was interested in the local area.”
The new housing development is currently being built near the Spalding Western Relief Road project and is due to be fully complete in five years time.
This project is set to include up to 400 properties. Chloe said: “We will have properties to move into from the summer and we’ll keep releasing new ones each month.
“We welcomed over 100 customers during our open weekend and received a positive response from the video with Louise.
“It has been really successful.”
The new development is open seven days a week between 10am and 5pm.
