Stretch of A17 blocked near Sutton Bridge following collision between van and car

Part of the A17 is currently blocked as police attend a two-vehicle collision.

The incident took place before 9am this morning on the stretch of road between the Sutton Bridge roundabout and nearby McDonald’s roundabout, which links the A17 with the B139 entrance into Long Sutton.

“We are at the scene of a collision at the A17, Sutton Bridge, involving a van and a car, which was reported to us at around 8.50am,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.

“The road is currently blocked.”
