Spalding Grammar School students say goodbye in style at Leavers’ Ball
Students waved goodbye to school life in style last week.
Youngsters from Spalding Grammar School dressed to the nines for their Leavers’ Ball last Thursday evening (June 26), hosted by the town’s Sessions House.
“It was a fitting way to close this chapter of their academic journey and to look ahead to the exciting new paths that lie before them,” said head of sixth form Dr Adriana Leadbeater.
“For some, this moment marked the culmination of a journey that began all the way back in Year 7. For others, it celebrated two transformative years in our Sixth Form.
“Regardless of when they joined us, every student has left a meaningful mark on our school community - and each now carries the lasting identity of being a Spaldonian.”
Pupils and teachers ensured they all left a lasting impression by wearing some eyecatching outfits.
“We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025,” Dr Leadbeater added.
“Their resilience, determination, and compassion have shaped a legacy that will endure long after they’ve left our halls.
“While their time as students at SGS has come to an end, we will remember them for their academic commitment and their willingness to look beyond themselves, contributing meaningfully to the wider community both within and beyond the school.
“We have every confidence in their future success and wish them a restful summer ahead of their exam results in August.
“We look forward to hearing all about their next adventures in the years to come.”
