Spalding Year 11 pupils arrive in style to their prom
A horse, a steam engine, motorbikes and some very flash cars were among the many ways in which students arrived at their school prom.
Spalding High School and Spalding Grammar School Year 11 pupils celebrated the end of their GCSE exams by donning some snazzy outfits to enjoy a night of fun at the town’s Springfields Events and Conference Centre.
One pupil looked stunning as she arrived in style on board a very well behaved stunning Cremello horse.
While other youngsters opted for a different form on ‘horse power’ including motor bikes and cars.
And a steam engine was also used to convey a pupil to the prom.
Head of Year 11 Jon Blackbourn said it was a fantastic night.
He said: “The Year 11 prom was a wonderful occasion again this year.
“All students managed to arrive in style and get inside the building before the rain started!
“It was wonderful to see everybody enjoying themselves and looking fantastic.
“The photo booths and pick ‘n’ mix stand were extremely popular and the DJ kept the dancefloor packed right up to the end.
“Thanks indeed to our hosts at Springfield, all the staff in attendance and of course our incredible Year 11 Class of 2024. We wish you all the very best.”
