Spalding surgery's bumper Sunday

Almost 800 people received their Covid-19 vaccine from the Munro Medical Centre in Spalding on Sunday.

The bumper weekend clinic at the West Elloe Avenue centre came after similarly high numbers of vaccines were delivered at clinics across South Lincolnshire in recent days.

In a Facebook post, the Munro thanked all of its staff for their hard work, adding: "Thank you to the team, what stars you all are."

Spalding's Beechfield Medical Centre vaccinated almost 1,000 people on Saturday - while Suttons Medical Group and Bourne Galletly Medical Centre administered about 500 jabs apiece on the same day.

The over-50s are now being urged to book an appointment for their vaccine. The Munro's dedicated booking line can be reached on 01775 765939.
