Over-55s in Moulton get their groove on

Over-55s got their groove on at a fun, freestyle exercise class at Moulton Village Hall.

The free Groove exercise class was part of First Time for Everything, a programme designed by Royal Voluntary Service to support health and wellbeing, and supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

First Time for Everything gives people, particularly those that are older or less mobile, opportunities to try new activities in their local community for free, and to be social and active.

Tutor Barb Mehew led the session, with participants enjoying some gentle exercise to music followed by a mellow meditation to wind things down.

Wendy Carter from Spalding attended, and said: “There was a lovely variety of music and gentle exercises. The relaxation at the end was a joy.”
