Two injured after dog attack in Spalding
Two people suffered serious injuries following a dog attack in Spalding.
Police say they have seized a dog – which is a lawful breed - after receiving reports of an incident at a property in Low Road yesterday (February 11) afternoon.
The two injured people, who knew the dog, remain in hospital today, the force has stated.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to a report that two people had been injured by a dog at a property in Low Road, Spalding, just after 1.15pm yesterday (11 February).
“Officers attended and found two people with serious injuries who were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where they remain.

“Due to the level of injury, the dog was seized and is being housed in kennels while further enquiries are made.
“The dog was contained at the address, it is known to the people who were attacked, and at no point was a risk to the wider public.”
