Pinchbeck pub The Bull Inn closed for a year is available to let
You could be pulling pints at a picturesque village pub after it has been made available to let.
Pinchbeck’s The Bull Inn ceased trading last year, but the business is now available on a 20-year free-of-tie lease.
The initial rent would be £27,500 per annum for the two-bar boozer, which includes living quarters.
A free-of-tie lease means the tenant is able to buy stock from whichever supplier they choose, rather than being tied into deals with the landlord or brewery.
“The Bull Inn is a two-storey detached building accessed via a central lobby entrance,” estate agent Everard Cole said.
“The ground floor trading space provides two bar areas: the right offers a bar area with space for circa 35 covers with a mix of loose and fixed seating; the left-hand side a bar with feature bulls horn bar.
“The first floor provides a substantial function room with space for 60-80 covers with separate dual access to the ground floor and dedicated bar servery.
“In addition, there is private accommodation comprising two double bedrooms, lounge, showroom, separate WC and bathroom.
“Externally there are two parking areas, either side of the property with space for deliveries, staff and customer parking for circa 30 cars.”
The Ship continues to cater for Pinchbeck’s drinkers and diners, but the Bull has been closed since landlady Emily Chappell called time while the nearby Bell received planning permission top be converted into flats last year.
Villagers can also get a pint at the Pinchbeck United Sports Bar.
