Welcome to LincsOnline – the new website covering life in Lincolnshire

Welcome to LincsOnline, a new website that is committed to top quality coverage of life in Lincolnshire.

We’re launching this new project today by bringing together the teams behind the Stamford Mercury, Lincolnshire Free Press, Grantham Journal and Spalding Guardian – and the result is the next stage in the evolution of these long-established and trusted titles that have been serving you news, sport and more since the 19th century and before.

We’re immensely proud of the heritage of these titles – and vow to keep serving those readers with the best coverage possible, both online and in print. Now, however, we’re moving to an ambitious new era in which we can reach out and offer you a flavour of stories and events from across our county.

LincsOnline is your new go-to news source for the county
LincsOnline is your new go-to news source for the county

Just as the pioneers of the past embraced the technology and tastes of their day to establish the news operations we represent now, it’s time for us to follow in their footsteps and freshen up our operation to suit the way modern readers get their news and features.

We promise to tackle serious topics that impact your lives – while also celebrating and championing the people, businesses and attractions that make up this big and varied county. We’ll help you find hidden gems, give you the lowdown on venues to try and won’t shy away from keeping those in power on their toes.

We’re excited about the prospect and are eager to welcome you along this journey with us. We’re not just going to assume we know best either. We want you to be a part of what we do – we’re talking with you and not at you. So, tell us what you want to see from LincsOnline – and give us your feedback on the topics we’re tackling this week. Send your news stories to news@lincsonline.co.uk, email me on andrew.brookes@iliffepublishing.co.uk or send your thoughts and views to kerry.coupe@iliffepublishing.co.uk

Thank you – and welcome aboard.
