The Zen Space in Spalding host another successful wellbeing event
Organisers of a successful wellbeing festival say they are pleased with the event’s large turnout – despite the scorching weekend heatwave.
The unique event is organised by The Zen Space in Spalding, and returned for its fifth year on Saturday, June 21.
Visitors were able to get involved in a range of workshops and activities at Zenfest – including pilates, yoga, meditation, sound healing, reiki drum and general fitness classes which were held outside.
One of the organisers and pilates teacher at the Zen Space, Lisa Sylvester said: “It was very warm so we were thankful for the gazebos and marquees which provided us plenty of shelter.
“We are pleased with how it went, it was a great day.
“The event highlighted and showcased the Zen Space, as well as the teachers, and opened up opportunities to lots of different stall holders to promote themselves too.
“We are pleased with the number of people who came to support it. I think the weather played a part, not just encouraging people but also discouraging people not to come along, but on the whole we are very happy.”
Some of the stalls at the event featured crystals, jewellery, vegan cakes, tarot cards and more.
