Pinchbeck United retain nine players from last season’s squad




Nine players from last season's squad have agreed to return to Pinchbeck United for the coming campaign.

The Knights will be playing in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One North this season following their relegation last term.

Player of the season Nathan Stevens and clubman of the year Joe Melson have both agreed to return to the Knights along with defender Charlie Brooks and attacker Logan Tate.

They have been joined by the defensive duo of Archie Wallace and Harry Cranfield who both featured heavily for Pinchbeck last season.

Flynn Slater, JJ Ward and Harry Wallace have also committed the Knights after impressing in pre-season.

Pinchbeck visit Skegness Town tonight (Tuesday) in their third pre-season outing.

The Knights were beaten 4-0 by Sleaford Town last week before going down to a 2-1 home defeat Boston Town on Saturday.

Pinchbeck have been drawn away at Lutterworth Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase. The winners will travel to Coalville Town in the next stage.
