The Bull Dog short mat bowls team have become the first club to retain the Hertfordshire three-wood triples crown.

The trio of Chris and Kelly West with Alan Wright won the tournament for a second year in a row after another impressive display.

They recorded five big wins in the seven-game tournament while only losing twice by one shot on the last end to book their place in the final where they secured a 9-3 success.
